The evening started beautifully. I picked Jen up and we came here to smoke, then we went to her house so she could get ready, and then we went to The Rock Room to see [...]

I am Vindicated…
Virgin Mobile stole 37 dollars from me. I yelled at them for 2 days (tuesday and wednesday) and today I called my bank and filed a complaint. They decided to call Virgin and have me try, one more time, to reason with them. After hearing their people talk ALL sorts of smack, and their refusal [...]

To Sandy
Dear Sandy,
I am sorry that it took so long to get back to you, but I was completely baffled by your last email, that I needed to examine it again a few times in order to respond. Here is what I have come up with.

My Sister’s Keeper — Jodi Picoult

Paint It Black — Janet Fitch
The long awaited 2nd novel from the author who graed our lives with “White Oleander” was definately worth waiting 30 years for. This is a heart breaking story of love and loss and what life is like for one woman who’s love wasn’t enough to keep her boyfriend from killing himself. I cried hysterrically at [...]

The Passion of Aremesia — Susan Vreeland
Another historically acurate artisit novel will top my list of favorite books. This book is a fictional documentation of the life of artisit Artemesia Gentileshi. It is a wonderful story that is happy, sad, terrifying and astonishing. A must read for lovers of art history. I give this book 9 1/2 out of 10.

Girl in Hyacinth Blue — Susan Vreeland
I love books about art history. Hyacinth Blue captured me from the beginning because a large part of it took place in France. (Which I have an affinity for) The story line was fast paced, romantic and historically accurate for being fiction. I loved this book. I gave it 9 out of 10.
