The Lovely Bones — Alice Sebold

I loved this book. It was not at all what I expected, but I loved it all the same. This book was written from the prespective of a young girl who was murdered and her narrative comes from heaven. It’s an amazing story of love and loss and growing up with a twist of mystery. [...]

The Nanny Diaries — Emma Mclaughlin and Nicola Kraus

I wished this book did not end. I loved this book. I am afraid to see the movie now. I know it will never compare. Especially since the previews have already made me mad. 8 1/2 out of 10.

Scott came over to spend time with Cassie. He has proclaimed his love for Jess and hence, a new leaf… Anyway. He came over after his game and he played with the baby. Then when we put her to bed, he stayed to watch Heroes. It was fun. Cassie is teething and has been a [...]

A Darker Place — Laurie R. King

A very good book about the infiltration of a religious cult. The reviews on this book weren’t very good, saying that the first 100 pages were slow. But I found the first 100 pages were very important to background and in building a story that would take you on a roller coaster for the next [...]
