From: Wednesday Weirdness

1.) Do you get along with your significant other’s parents? If you’ve never met their parents or if you’re single, how did you usually get along with former SO’s parents? In the beginning. 12 years ago, no. I did not. They came from the typical 50’s family unit strictly Catholic where the woman stays in the house and obeys and I came from the hippy home where my parents were equal and my sister and I were taught to have our own belief system and not follow the crowd or conform. Ted’s mother and I butted heads and argued a million times about why certain things “just aren’t done”. She never had a reason why, just that it just isn’t done. Finally, after a few years, she saw how healthy Ted and my realtionship was and how equal we were in it. She began to change and demand respect and equality from her 55+ year old husband. It took a lot of work, but she got there and we eventually became one of my best friends until she passed away on June 2nd, 2008. 

2.) Have you ever stolen a tip from a table while eating at a restaurant? If you saw someone doing this, would you speak up or pretend you never saw anything? I was once a waitress and I know that waitresses survive on every measly penny they get. I would never, ever, ever steal a tip. If for some god awful reason I am short and can not tip. I always tell the waitress and I ALWAYS bring one in when I can. If I see someone steal a tip, which thankfully I haven’t yet. I would confront if possible and safe or I would gtell the waitress nad leave her a tip from me. I have had to tip for people at other tables who didn’t leave a tip after making the waitress bust her ass. 

3.) Do you have any sexual fantasies that you’d never admit to anyone? Nope. Mine are pretty run of the mill, I guess.

4.) What smells do you find comforting? Any earth smell. Rain, dirt, woods like cedar and oak and pine, grass… I love the smell of fresh cut grass. The ocean… I miss the ocean.

5.) Do you ever resent your significant other for not earning more money? Do you ever find yourself jealous because your SO earns more money than you? Never. He is the bread winner here. I don’t work and I don’t care if we lived in a box. He is the love of my life and money and wealth mean little to us. We need it to survive unfortunately, but we don’t care more than that.

6.) If you had to wear a Halloween costume for 3 hours a day, ever day, for the rest of your life, which would it be and why? Ummm… I have NO idea. I guess… ummm… A postal worker? Maybe people would think I had a second job.

7.) Have you ever had sex with someone and kept a piece of their undergarments or anything else for any reason? Have you ever had someone want or try to keep something of yours? No I haven’t and I hope no one has done it to me.
